PK is all set to release in China on 22nd May 2015. Grand China Premiere took place yesterday. The highest grossing Indian movie, PK, had a grand premiere in China yesterday at the Shanghai Art Center – the biggest theatre in Shanghai. This is the first time that to dub for the role of Aamir Khan in the Chinese version of PK, the China Film Group has appointed Baoqiang Wang, an A list actor from the region. Wang is the Chinese equivalent of Khan at the movies there and has several box office successes, including Lost in Thailand, the highest grossing Chinese movie ever, to his credit.
The Chinese premiere was attended by the Chinese Aamir Khan Fan Club (100,000+ members). The Indian Consulate was present there with their representatives, and 400 odd members from Indian community attended, which was handled by Indian Community association.
