Shahid Kapoor is in a happy place in life. He has his marriage to look forward to on the personal front and professionally too, he’s on an all-time high. Not only has he got enrolled into the ‘great actors’ club with his performance in his last release, Haider, the actor also has a few projects lined up. And it’s been 12 whole years since he made his Bollywood debut with Ishq Vishq in 2003. That’s a pretty long time.
Reminding us of the same, the actor tweeted sometime back, “12 years a slave of this most amazing world of films thank you one and all for the love and the support . Big love .” A little later he added, “12 years and just getting started.
The Shandaar actor is currently in Punjab shooting for his upcoming film, Udta Punjab where he stars opposite Aliya Bhatt. The Abhishek Chaubey directorial also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in pivotal roles. The film is based on the increasing problem of drug abuse in Punjab with with a drug mafia to whom all the four characters are likely to have some connection.
