Anurag Basu’s upcoming romantic drama starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, has been in the news ever since it first went on floors; thanks to the leaks from the sets of the film. After rumours of the film being postponed until to this year, Disney India recently announced the release date of the film to be June 3, 2016.
Since the film sees Ranbir playing a detective, it has been shot across different locations. After having shot in the exotic locales of Cape Town the story came back to India. Ranboo and Kat completed one schedule of the film’s shoot last year and ever since the makers have been trying to find time to accommodate the next schedule of the shoot. The film has been getting delayed to make way for Ranbir’s other films and filmy commitment. Same was the case with Katrina’s date schedule.
Ranbir and Katrina are both busy with their upcoming projects currently. While Ranbir is promoting Bombay Velvet where he stars opposite Anushka Sharma, Katrina is busy with the promotions of Loreal Paris, for which she is also attending the Cannes International Film Festival for the first time. She is also juggling between the shooting schedules of Phantom and Fitoor.
