Priyanka Chopra shared her reasons for acquiring ballerina shoes for herself & Deepika Padukone during the Bajirao Mastani song. Having to rehearse for nearly 14 hours at a stretch, the ladies would have very sore feet. So buying those shoes for rehearsals became essential. Having shot for the epic 12 days of the dance off, Pee Cee sports a few marks & minor scratches from the elaborate outfits she needed to sport. The outfit was done in antique fabric & rare brocades but that’s about as much as she would say about the film.
After wrapping up Bajirao in about a month, Pee Cee will move on to Prakash Jha’s ‘Gangajal 2’. She clarified that while the film is not political, it does focus on current topics and has powerful content.
Priyanka’s role in DDD entails that of an entrepreneur who harbours ambitions of taking the family business forward, even as her father focuses on his son to take the lead. It’s a strong character to play, one that Pee Cee is very proud of doing.
DDD is slated to release on June 6.
