Sunny Leone’s Ek Paheli Leela which released last Friday managed to open well at the ticket windows. The film which also stars Jay Bhanushali, Rajniesh Duggall and Rahul Dev received rave reviews from the audiences as well as the critics. Apart from this, Sunny’s latest offering has joined Tevar, Baby, Badlapur and Roy to become the highest weekend grossers of 2015.
The Mastizaade actress’s film had a bumper opening and raked in Rs 5.30 crore on the first day thanks to good buzz before the film’s release. At this point, the film has managed to earn Rs 18.03 crore at the domestic box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter a while ago and posted the box office numbers of EPL. He wrote, “#EkPaheliLeela Fri 5.30 cr, Sat 5.20 cr, Sun 5.35 cr, Mon 2.18 cr. Total: ₹ 18.03 cr. India biz.”
Well, though the numbers have dipped on Monday, we are certain that Sunny’s film will manage to do well at the ticket windows as EPL is a massy film than Emraan Hashmi’s Mr. X and Kalki Koechlin‘s Margarita, With a Straw that will release on April 17.
