Rohit Shetty took his place behind the camera once again as he and his boy brigade kick started the first schedule of the shoot in Mumbai on the 20th of March. The director has gone out of his way to assemble his all star cast that includes Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Varun Sharma, Boman Irani, Vinod Khanna, Kabir Bedi, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Chetna Pandey, Mukesh Tiwari and Murli Sharma. He even went the extra mile to get the rights of the film's name 'Dilwale' that is a 1994 Ajay Devgn starrer.
SRK and Kajol who are Bollywood's most loved on-screen pair, will start shooting for the film in June. SRK landed up on the sets of 'Dilwale' to meet the entire team. He posted a picture captioning it as 'Too happy to see Rohit and his team'. Shah Rukh and Kajol have starred together in hits like 'Baazigar', 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', 'Karan Arjun', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. The two were last seen together on-screen in Karan Johar's 'My Name Is Khan' in 2010.
Rohit who has collaborated with SRK in 'Chennai Express', had been planning 'Dilwale' for almost three years now. The pre-production started during 'Chennai Express' itself. The makers promise that this film is going to be in a completely new territory - completely different from the previous Rohit's flicks.
