The doe eyed beauty, Deepika Padukone, who made her debut in Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om, stealing millions of hearts with her dimpled smile, has come a long way. Deepika is one of the most sought after actressess in B-town and has made a mark for herself as an actress who puts great effort in each and every role. After ruling the box office with Ram Leela, the trioka of Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are gearing up for yet another magnum opus, Bajirao Mastani. And we hear that Deepika has agreed to go through all the hardships for the role.
A little birdie tells us that Deepika will be sporting a 20 kg armour in the film. Not just that, the Finding Fanny star would be performing some grueling stunts in the film while wearing the armour. Sources claim that Deepika would be featuring in war sequences donning the heavy armour and she has already started sporting it to get the feel of the extra weight of the armour. We hear the Piku star is also trying her hand on stunts, sporting the armour, before the shoot for the war scenes take place.
This is not the first time when SLB has made Deepika to sweat it out with added weight. While shooting for Dhol Baje song in Ram Leela, Deepika’s lehenga weighed around 30kg. Looks like the master director will extract a memorable performance from Deepika yet again.
