While a lot many speculations and reports by various known portals have gone around about Rohit Shetty’s upcoming directorial with superstar Shah Rukh Khan being Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi‘s remake, the filmmaker has denied the rumours clarifying that it is an original script and not any remake!
The reports suggested that the film is an unofficial remake of 1958 classic Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi. Rohit, however, rubbished all the rumours to a leading portal saying that he would have accepted this, had it been true. Shetty, in fact, finds it funny how the portals have been writing that he is trying to hide it.
At a recent event, SRK had divulged that his film with Shetty will go on floors in March. However, Shah Rukh won’t start shooting then, but will join the team in May or June.
Even Rohit had mentioned that he has already finalized the star cast of the film which will be announced in a grand manner in March this year. The movie is likely to release in Christmas 2015, though an official announcement on this is still awaited!
