Akshay Kumar’s tremendous success of ‘Baby’ has triggered the film’s sequel already.
The film that has created a severe adrenaline rush amongst the audience crediting its success to the brilliant performance and scripting, ‘Baby’ has successfully garnered rave views from every tangent.
Now, if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then the filmmakers have planned something big for the sequel of the recently released film. In a statement given by producer Bhushan Kumar, he mentioned that Baby’s sequel will be even more exciting than the existing one.
Further, it has also been deemed that when director Neeraj Pandey stated the idea to Akshay Kumar, he was more-than-willing to turn ‘Baby’ into a franchise.
Pandey has even mentioned earlier that while he was writing ‘Baby,’ he had already thought about shaping its sequel. In a statement given to Mumbai Mirror, Akshay was quoted saying “As an actor and an action fanatic, Baby took me to another level. Working with Neeraj is always a delight and I just can't wait to get cracking on Baby 2 for, which I am determined to work even harder.”
The much anticipated ‘Baby’ sequel is said to go on floors in the year 2016 and the film is expected to release on January 26, 2017, two years after the release of the first part. We hope the star cast of the sequel remains the same as in the original.
