Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur "Airlift" first look

2015 has started with a bang for Akshay Kumar. The actor impressed many with his stint as officer Ajay Singh Rajput in the film Baby and is all set to amaze us with his upcoming film Airlift. The venture will feature The Lunchbox fame Nimrat Kaur and we recently informed you that the two have started shooting for the same.For those unaware, Airlift is a film based on true events and is set in the 199os, the period of the Gulf War in Kuwait. The film will shed light on the civilian evacuation which saw more than 170,000 thousand Indians being evacuated from the war hit Kuwait. The evacuation was termed as the largest one the world has ever witnessed! In Airlift, Akshay will be seen playing Ranjit Katyal, who operates and leads the evacuation, in turn giving up something of utmost personal importance. Nimrat, on the other hand, will play a woman living a luxurious life, with tons of moolah to spend and a kickass mansion to live in.

Coming to the first look, I believe Akshay and Nimrat couldn’t have looked any better than this! The couple surely gives a whole new meaning to words chic hand classy doesn’t it? I love how Akki makes a dapper frame in an all white suit with a pair of brown shoes on. Nimrat, looks elegant and gorgeous in a dark velvet maroon dress which she sports with a one sided curled hairdo and matching lips. What a stunner!
