Filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey, who has directed Ishqiya and Dedh Ishqiya, is now all set to direct his next film ‘Udta Punjab’ starring Shahid kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead and if sources are to be believed then Abhishek has also approached Kareena Kapoor to be part of this film.A source close to the team revealed, “Abhishek has locked Shahid and Alia Bhatt so far and the film also requires two more actors a hero and a heroine. Abhisehk is considering Kareena Kapoor for this role and she has also liked the script but nothing has been finalized so far.”
Reportedly, none of them share a single frame with each other during the entire film.
Actor Shaihd Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were last seen together in Milenge Milenge which bombed at the box office and however, post their infamous break up both have them have not worked with each other.
But if things fall in place both Shahid and Kareena will be seen in Udta Punjab
