TV actress Anita Hassanandani has hit the jackpot. The petite actress has been roped in to star opposite none other than Salman Khan in the remake of 1983 hit Hero.
Thrilled Anita, confirmed the news but refused to divulge details about her role in the movie. "Yes, it's true. It's produced by Salman and directed by Nikhil Advani. It should release sometime next year. It's an exciting role, very unlike what I play in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. So yes, I am experimenting, taking up interesting work and working with great people," she said in a statement.
Anita is currently seen in a negative role in Star Plus' show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The actress has previously worked in Dus Kahaniyaan, Kucch To Hai, Yeh Dil and Koi Aap Sa.
Hero marks the debut of Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj and Sunil Shetty's daughter Athiya. The film is being produced by Salman Khan and directed by Nikhil Advani.
